Andraka Bellamy

Executive Director

Andraka D. Bellamy, the owner of Bells of Hope, has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by low-income families. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Johnson C. Smith University and a Master’s in Public Administration from Strayer University, Andraka has dedicated her career to serving the community. Having worked for 14 years in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, Andraka has firsthand experience working with low-income families and homeless individuals. Currently, as a Program Coordinator for the TRiO Educational Talent Search Program, Andraka continues to make a difference in the lives of low-income and first-generation students. Her personal experience of needing help but not qualifying due to a small margin above eligibility requirements fuels her passion to assist low-income families in any way she can.
